Worship Leaders
Meet the Team Hi Everyone,
In this section of our site I wanted to introduce to you our church's Worship Leaders and Music Director. Also, I wanted to be able to let them share with you their inspiration and thoughts on worship for the month. As worshipers, whether we lead or not, we are always worshiping out of a new revelation of who God is and what He is doing. Here are some thoughts from our team leaders, hope you enjoy and perhaps find some inspiration too.
Kirsty.

| I've been reading a great book lately that has highlighted some important areas for consideration. One of which has been the state of the heart. It says in Prov 23:7
"For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…"
I've been challenged about what I think about as it is directly connected to the status and content of what is in my heart. Subtle attitudes, negative thoughts, etc. Anything like that emerges as a result of what is in your heart. We think our hearts are pure before the Lord until we realise that our thought life is a true indication of our 'heart life'. Woah…that's confronting!
My prayer is 'Lord help me to cleanse my heart by keeping my thoughts focused on You and Your word, on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of good report (Phillipians 4:8).' This is important as we do not only sing worship but think it also. | David Inglis - Worship Leader
| I have been thinking and meditating that the Lord is my rock lately. A few scriptures (New Living Translation): 2 Samuel 22:2 "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior" (Psalm 18) Isaiah 26:4 "Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock." There is much more about the Lord being our Rock, and that we will not be shaken, look it up. In my worship I am confessing and thinking that Christ is my Rock and I cannot be moved from His Love, His Peace and His Joy! When we are solid in these things it doesn't matter about circumstances, we can keep our focus on God and the truth of His Word, and praise Him with full hearts. | Sek-Mun Wong - Music Director
