Gunners' Barracks is one of Sydney's most loved establishments, nestled within bushland at Georges Heights, Mosman on the North Shore its historic location and spectacular Sydney Harbour views will leave you absolutely captivated.

Renowned for our time honoured traditional High Tea service, midweek A La Carte Lunch lunches and famous for our exclusive waterfront  Wedding Receptions and Events, Gunners’ Barracks is a spectacular venue that hosts guests everyday of the week for dining & life’s most special occasions.

Getting here:

By Car

Head towards Taronga Zoo, take Military Road through Mosman village. At the roundabout take the first exit onto Middle Head Road. Continue along this road, turn right into Suakin Drive. Follow this road right to the end. Turn right onto Commonwealth Avenue. Parking is located on Commonwealth Avenue in the ‘Gunshot Alley’ car park.

General parking is not accessible through the boom gate. 

There are 2x Disabled parking spaces available closer to the venue, you will need to go through the boom gate (we cannot reserve these spaces). There is also a 15 minute drop-off bay there.

On foot

Proceed down the stairs located at the end of the car park. The building you see once you have reached the bottom is Gunners’ Barracks.

By Bus

People wishing to travel to Gunners’ Barracks from the CBD by bus will need to:

Alight on ‘100 – QVB to Taronga Zoo’ and disembark at Mosman Junction then,

Transfer and alight ‘111 – South Mosman Wharf to Chowder Bay’ and disembark at Middle Head Rd, opposite Markham Close.

Proceed with a short walk to our venue to complete your journey.
