HIS WORD HEALS

He magnifies His Word above all things, even chronic disease. Read how Sylvie prayed and spoke His Word continually in Faith to receive healing.

I suffered from a violent form of immune disease - ulcerative colitis / Crohn's disease from my early twenties and my thirties with several stay-in hospitals. 

​

When I was 26, I was told by top specialists to have my bowel removed because they couldn't successfully control the disease.

​

I had received the vision of myself having a wonderful life and travelling the nation for work years prior, and so told them this was not in my future, and being confident that my body would eventually respond to their efforts, I refused the procedure.  

​

One day I was in the shower, just enjoying some scripture I had been spending time with:

​

Bless the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord oh my soul and forget not all His benefits,
Who forgives all your inequities and heals of your diseases,
Bless the Lord oh my soul! - Psalm 103 

As I said this, I hear the voice of the Holy Spirit say “say it louder!” And so, I did.
I said the verse louder over myself. Then the voice of the Holy Spirit said

"There. Right there in these verses, there is your freedom."

I continued to speak this Word, weaved with others like it through the year, in time of wellness and whenever I felt weakness in myself. Having learnt and acquired a lifestyle of praise and thanksgiving through the years, I continued to surround myself with this Psalm, so special to my heart. During the last 10 years I moved into marvellous health.

I had a medical procedure today to check on the state of my gut, as it had been some years, and got a full remission report!

My colon lining is fully healed, all pretty bar some minor scaring that show small signs of previous history. I testify today that there is creative power in the Word of God, that the Word and the Spirit are powerful to move your circumstances and recreate health in your body. He watches over His Word to perform it! Praise Him!
